Personal:

I am currently in my second year of school at Saint John’s University. I was born and raised in Rochester, Minnesota. I first laced up the skates when I was just 3 years old. My passion for the game started when I first saw my older brother play and the love hasn’t faded since. I grew up playing through the Rochester Youth Hockey Association from termites, all the way through bantams. After bantams, I continued on to play high school hockey for the John Marshall Rockets. After I graduated high school in 2016, I went on to play two years of junior hockey. I spent my two years of junior hockey with the Granite City Lumberjacks of the NA3HL, where I was fortunate enough to win the Silver Cup Championship. In my second year of juniors I spent a little bit of time with the Fairbanks Ice Dogs and Minot Minotauros both of which are in the NAHL. Doug Schueller approached me during my first year of juniors and so I came and took a tour of SJU. I loved what I saw on campus, but the main reason I chose this school was because of the value they have for both academics and athletics.

I am currently on path to major in Biology because of my interest in Pre-Med. My favorite class here at Saint John’s is Biology because it’s interesting to see the breakdown of living organisms.

Upon graduation from SJU, I would love to attend med school but have not yet thought about where in particular. There are so many different things to do in the medical field, so I have not yet discovered specifically what I want to do. When I am all settled down I ultimately want to work at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN.
