Personal:

I started playing hockey when I was just 3 years old and have loved the game ever sense. I grew up in White Bear Lake, Minnesota where I live with my mom Jodi, my dad Pat, brother Blake, and sister Brie. I played hockey in White Bear through high school, then started playing juniors in Alexandria, Minnesota. After 3 years in Alexandria, St. Johns University caught my attention. I was interested in SJU because of the great academics and community. I also knew what a great hockey team they had every year and wanted to be apart of it. I enjoy the location because it is right in the middle of my home town and the town where I played juniors.

I have not yet decided a major but have been interested in communications and environmental studies. My goals in life are to keep playing hockey for as long as I can, make a difference in others lives, and to stay close with my family and friends and one day start a family of my own. I like to works with kids and people with special needs. I have been working with a special needs hockey team the past few years and hope to keep that going.

My professional goal is to find a job that I enjoy going to everyday. I love working with people and want to find something were I can do that. After my time at SJU I hope to start a family and stay in Minnesota. I want to coach hockey and be able to work with children or people with special needs. I want to travel but also learn to enjoy the little things in life.
