Personal:

I am a sophomore at St John’s University.  I was born and raised in Edina, MN.  In my youth, during my mite, squirt, peewee, and bantam years, I played in the Edina Hockey Association.  Throughout those years, in the spring and summer, I developed my hockey skills playing at Minnesota Made on a Machine team.  I played for Edina High School from 2016-2018. Since 2018, my off-season training has primarily been with a college/junior group at Velocity Training Center.

In my senior year at Edina, I was drafted into the NAHL by the Maryland Black Bears.  Following graduation, I traveled to Maryland to play for the Black Bears.  It was an amazing experience being able to frequently visit the Capitol in Washington, DC, and the Naval Base in Annapolis.  In the summer of 2019, while on the Black Bears’ roster, I had the privilege of representing the USA, NAHL, and Maryland in the World Junior Cup in Sochi, Russia.  During the 2019-2020 season, I also enjoyed the experience of playing for NAHL teams in Dallas and Boston.  Throughout my two years of juniors, I stayed in touch with Coach Schueller. I was immediately drawn to St. John’s, and I believed that St. John’s would be a great team to play for and an outstanding university to receive my degree from.

My academic interests are in business and finance. I am currently planning to major in Accounting with a Finance Concentration. In my experience so far, the classes here have been excellent, especially battling through Covid and the block schedule my freshman year, it is evident that the university and the professors will go the extra mile in helping you succeed. After SJU I hope to get a job that I enjoy and that gives me the opportunity to advance throughout my career. I really feel a part of a special community and a special hockey team here at SJU!
