This is my second year here at SJU. I am originally from Alexandria, Minnesota where I started playing hockey at the age of three. Growing up, I played youth hockey there and it was where I first fell in love the game. In high school, I played four years for the Alexandria Cardinals in the MSHSL. My junior and senior seasons I also played for the Alexandria Blizzard before and after the highschool season. After graduating from high school, I played for the Brookings Blizzard in the NAHL for two seasons. Along with a great hockey program, I knew SJU had strong reputation for academics so when Coach Schueller reached out to me I was very interested and these were the main factors in me deciding to come here.
I am an accounting major here and the reason I chose this major is because I have a very strong interest in business. Accounting is the language of the business world and learning how everything comes together interests me greatly. My favorite class thus far is Accounting Principles I with Bob Bell.
After graduating I hope to get a job in medical device sales. I would like to travel and live in another part of the country after college for a few years. After that I hope to move back to Minnesota and one day own and operate my own company.
